Concept:
Shahrukh Khan will now be seen as the host of new reality TV show on Stra Plus.
“The Moment of Truth” which is a famous American show is well known for its 21 personnel questions which sometimes look embarrassing.
Due to the cultural differences the game show in Hindi will be having a format change and the questions will also be in a refined way. SRK is said to host the game show and the winner will be awarded with an ultimate gift.
SRK has to sign the deal yet, and may start shooting for this Indian game show from March last week or from April first week. The show will not coincide with the IPL matches and will be aired from May 2009.

Matrimonial Reality Show on Star Plus: Coming Soon!
Concept:
Star Plus will launch a new reality show, based on matchmaking between eligible couples, and it will soon be aired in a prime time slot on the weekends. The new show, combining reality and entertainment together, aims to bring together men and women along with their families, for a real-time matchmaking session on TV.
Through the proposed show, viewers will get to see the matches arranged on the show culminate in marriage.
The registration for the show began on January 15 and will continue till January 30. The show is open for single (male and female) Indian residents conversant in Hindi. Males in the age group of 22-30 years and females in the age group of 22-25 years are eligible to participate in the show. Auditions and selection of participants for the new show will commence soon.

Shilpa Shetty is looking for a her Royal Divas!
Concept:
Rajasthan Royals (RR), the Emerging Media owned Indian Premier League (IPL) franchise, which already has the oomph factor with actor Shilpa Shetty, now aims to further enhance the X-factor and is organising a nationwide contest to hunt for ‘the face of Rajasthan Royals’, called the Royals Diva.

In partnership with SMS GupShup, the winner of Season 1 of IPL had recently launched a mobile community. Now, taking it forward, the franchise has introduced a slew of contests for the team’s fans. Though the contests will be run nationwide, they will have a special thrust in Rajasthan and Gujarat, which is the catchment area of the team.
The franchise has kick-started contests such as Royals Diva, Kaptano Ke Kaptan, Boundary Ke Baadshah, Toss ka Boss and Googly-Shugly.
Royals Diva will give an opportunity to our fans to be a part of the Royals family on a personal level. Shilpa, who is a strategic business partner, will be a part of the off-field activities and provide her creative inputs to the innovations in the team.
Royals Diva is a nationwide hunt, whereas the remaining contests focus on fans in Rajasthan and Gujarat. Some contests have terms and conditions such as age limits and limitations on the number of winners. For example, in Toss Ka Boss, only one winner will be selected per match.
Kaptano ke Kaptan is a hunt for the official off-the-field cheerleading team. About 105 off-the-field cheerleaders will be selected from Rajasthan and Gujarat, who are also the members of the Royal Lions Club. “They will not dance on the fields but they will sit in the captain’s lounge and wear the T-shirts of Rajasthan Royals,” informs Utkarsh.
About 140 ball boys in the age group of 12 -16 years will be selected for the Boundary ke Baadshah contest. In each match, 20 boys will get a chance to catch the ball whenever a RR player hits a boundary. The Toss ka Boss winner will get a chance to accompany Shane Warne for the toss before the matches. The participants for this contest will be in the 6-10 years age group, who will be selected from various schools in Rajasthan and Gujarat, based on their performances in the activities conducted in the schools.
Googly-Shugly, which is a trivia contest on radio, will hand out about 150 tickets of the RR matches to the callers who correctly answer six rapid-fire questions on the team.

Concept:
Vijay Mallya owned Force India Formula One Team plans to introduce a glamour quotient into the team. It has partnered with MTV to launch a reality show, called MTV Force India –The Fast and the Gorgeous, to hunt for gorgeous girls to become Speed Divas for the team.
The concept of Speed Divas aims to rope in a team of four girls who will get to be an intrinsic part of the Force India team. Internationally, the concept of pit girls in F1 sports is very popular. Pit girls are more than a group of cheerleaders. They are the face of the F1 team, adding glamour and attitude to the team. They act as the official hosts of the team and are always part of the action happening on the pit.”

The television show will involve 20 girls housed under a roof for 30-35 days, competing against each other to become the Speed Diva.
The show represents a hybrid format with a mix of sports, glamour and reality. After pan India auditions, we will call 20 girls and put them under one roof for 20-35 days.
“These girls will be asked to perform various tasks in different rounds, termed as laps, to judge them for their intelligence, style quotient and attitude. More than anything, they will be judged for their speed in completing a given task.”
MTV Force India –The Fast and the Gorgeous will be a 10 episode series, with one hour episodes being telecast once a week. Patil adds, “The contestants will have to clear different laps or rounds of the tasks assigned to them. Each round will be inspired by one of the countries following Formula 1 racing. For instance, if the country is China, then the girls may be asked to complete tasks related to eating noodles or performing martial arts.”
The activities in different laps have been designed to test participants on various parameters such as speed, style, attitude and intelligence. MTV Force India –The Fast and the Gorgeous will go on air in the middle of April.
